Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and the maker of Even. By using the App you accept them. We've kept them readable.
1. Who we are
Even (the "App") is operated by Harvested ZZP, a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands (KvK 95741186, VAT NL005172182B56), Graaf Aelbrechtlaan 171, 1181 SV Amstelveen. Contact: [email protected].
2. Acceptance
By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
3. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Dutch courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
4. Nature of the service
Even provides digital tools that help members of a household record shared expenses, settle balances fairly, and coordinate household tasks and calendars. Even is an organisational tool. It is not a bank, payment institution, or money-transfer service, and it does not provide financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice. Even does not move or hold your money — settlements are calculations you act on yourselves.
5. Your account
You register using your email, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Account sharing between different people is not permitted; households are formed by inviting members, each with their own account.
6. Your content and data
You keep ownership of the content you add to Even. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to process that content solely to operate and improve the App, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App: no unlawful, abusive, or infringing content; no attempts to breach security, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service; and no use that harms other members of your household or third parties.
8. Connected services
If you connect a Google account, your use of that data within Even is also subject to Google's terms, and Even's handling of it follows the Limited Use commitments in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Even reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may add, change, or discontinue features, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse of the App. You may stop using Even and delete your account at any time from within the App. On deletion we handle your data as set out in the Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual property
The App, its design, and its software are owned by Harvested ZZP and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the App except as permitted by law.
12. Price
Even is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans in future, the price and terms will be shown clearly in the App before you are charged, and applicable consumer-law rights will apply.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Even is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for financial decisions you make based on the App's calculations. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory consumer rights.
14. Apple & Google platform terms
If you download Even from the App Store, Apple is not a party to these Terms; Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies. Similar platform terms apply to distribution via Google Play.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
